Welcome to Marc’s Driving Academy. By registering for our services, using our website, or attending lessons, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

 

1. Eligibility

Students must hold a valid Nova Scotia learner’s permit or driver’s license before taking the 1-on-1 in-car driving lessons.

 

2. Driver Education Course:

Students must complete the online theory sessions within one year of account activation.

After the account expires:

• A $120 fee is required to set up a new account.
• Students will need to restart the course from the beginning.

 

3. Lesson Bookings and Payments

• Lessons must be booked in advance and are subject to instructor availability.
• Full payment is required to reserve your spot.
• Payments can be made via e-transfer to info@marcsdriving.ca.
• All fees include HST unless otherwise stated.

 

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

• Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a $60 cancellation fee or forfeiture of the session.
• No-shows will be treated as late cancellations and are non-refundable.

 

5. Use of School Vehicle for Road Test

• Use of our vehicle for a road test requires at least one in-car assessment before the test day to determine readiness.
• We reserve the right to refuse use of our vehicle if a student is deemed unprepared or unsafe.
• Completion of the 35-hour driver education course does not automatically entitle a student to use our vehicle for the road test. Readiness must be confirmed by the instructor.
• Road test package fees must be paid in full prior to the test day.

 

6. Student Conduct and Safety

• Students must be punctual, respectful, and bring their valid learner’s or driver’s license to every session.
• Instructors may terminate a lesson without refund if the student is impaired, uncooperative, aggressive, or unfit to drive.
• Substance use (alcohol, cannabis, drugs) before or during a session is strictly prohibited.

 

7. Liability

Marc’s Driving Academy and its instructors are not liable for any accidents, injuries, or violations that occur outside of scheduled lesson times.

 

8. Privacy Policy

• We respect your privacy. Any personal information collected during registration or communication will only be used for lesson planning, coordination, and insurance purposes.
• Your information will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

 

9. Changes to Terms

• Marc’s Driving Academy reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
• Continued use of our services after any such changes implies acceptance of the revised terms.
